Not a band I was ever a great fan of but… I recently digitsed a tape I had made of a few Peel Session’s from ten years back, The Make-Up were first on this tape. As a point of interest I have decided to include it here as I imagine there are some fans. ’13 Point program…’ was one of my first introduction’s to what was the modern Dischord hardcore sound. Nation of Ulysses vocalist Ian Svenonius broke away (after Cupid Car Club) to focus on the Make- Up and their ‘gospel yeh yeh’ sound. Picture lifted from the Mid 90′s group on Facebook.
